X Wray

X Wray is the hang out for all the cool kids in Freo. And it really is very easy to spend a good part of the day here. Situated on a wide arcade, between Essex and Collie Streets and just across from Luna cinema, the X Wray gets its name from its previous incarnation quite some years ago as the Wray on Wray Ave in South Freo. We were pleased to see them move into the heart of the port town as the space fits loads more customers and welcomes the longer opening hours they’ve delivered! Seat yourself on one of the long, wooden benches in the large, welcoming, front courtyard, and enjoy some good food and coffee. If it’s a little chilly for your liking, you can lounge on the couches inside. The atmosphere is friendly and the bar license means you can stay well into the evening for a tipple with your tapas.
