When you enter through the Chinatown arch on Roe Street, take a right, and there you’ll find one of Perth’s late night gems. A favourite with performers stopping in for a feed after a gig, as well as the local Chinese community, Uncle Billy’s gives you authentic dishes until 4am every night of the week. Service isn’t always fast, particularly if it is early in the evening, but don’t be put off if you have to wait a while for your order to be taken as the food is generally served with rapidity. It’s good Chinese food, at a good price, and the convenience of being able to bring your own booze is well appreciated. Claire.
