Perth’s original alternative bridal fair is happening again this weekend. First Comes Love runs from 12-4pm on Sunday 2 April at the gorgeous MosArts building in Mosman Park, where you can find talented Perth locals to take care of every aspect of your event. One of the most important considerations when planning a party or a pledge is the venue, and we’re here today to introduce four of Perth’s loveliest party sites.
Since starting in 2011, First Comes Love has become the must-visit fair for those planning a party or a pledge who want to take the road less travelled. Although mostly attended by those with impending nuptials, this event is for people planning a celebration of any kind.
Let’s face it, cake is important in life, not to mention when there’s a special occasion to celebrate! Today we have teamed up with Wedding Upmarket to talk about the all important wedding cake by introducing you to three incredible creators – two who bake and one cheese afficionado.
Last weekend Winthrop Hall at UWA was filled to the brim with stallholders at the biannual Wedding Upmarket. This event brings together photographers, stylists, dress and jewellery designers, catering businesses, celebrants and more for the bride and groom planning a party. While the stalls have a distinct wedding flavour, this event is also fantastic for anyone organising an event – no impending marriage required! Here we take a look at some of the exhibitors that really stood out for us on the day.
