One-third of the shire is state forest, making the drive as well as the visit itself a pleasant one to say the least. Start the day by popping into an art gallery, then stock up your pantry, stop for a tranquil lunch under the trees, swim in a lake, head out for a hike, and reward yourself with pizza before catching a flick outdoors. Here are our tried and tested faves from the area.
Francophiles and cinema lovers rejoice as the 2017 Alliance Française French Film Festival returns to Cinema Paradiso, Luna on SX and Windsor Cinema from 15 March to 5 April.
