Showing and selling art in private homes, this is an annual community event that aims to make affordable art accessible to everyone. It is $5 to attend the event, where guests are invited to enter 6 homes in the Fremantle area that are all within walking distance of one another.

Worn Land is a reflection of the Pilbara’s incredibly rich and stunningly diverse landscape. Beau est Mien will release their new collection of prints, paper goods and gifts on Friday 29 July. Created by Beau est Mien founder Magali Dincher – an artist originally from the north of France – alongside manager and printmaker Alina Tang, these beautiful new products have each been made locally.

Sarmarie Higgins is a Dunsborough based visual artist whose work involves a lot of colour. Inspired by her early morning starts (4:45am anyone?), Sarmarie works on her own range of original artworks and private commissions as well as designing homewares featuring her striking work. Sarmarie is coming up to Perth this weekend for Perth Upmarket, happening this Sunday 21 June from 10-4 at Winthrop Hall, UWA, so we thought it was perfect timing to get her in for a chat.
