Subiaco Station Street Markets

What’s not to love about an inner city fresh produce market, where prices are low and competitive, a multitude of languages are thrown around, and elbowing your way to the best apples of the day is an unspoken rule. Welcome to the Subi markets. Sure it has its own share of non-food related stalls selling various trinkets, but it’s the produce that’s worth coming here for. Packed with locals stocking up on fresh fruit and veg, you’ll also find some other foodie spots here. Pick up some freshly baked bread, practice your French and order a galette for breakfast, then wander on down and buy some nuts in bulk at Angry Almond. There are also many more delicacies to try in the adjoining food court. Make sure you ask for a box for your fruit and veg if you want to avoid using plastic bags.
