If you’re driving down Queen Victoria Street in North Fremantle, Propeller will surely catch your eye. With a restaurant in a converted bus garage, a shipping container pumping out coffees and pastries, and vibrant yellow umbrellas shading the courtyard, the space is wonderfully appealing.
But that’s not all, as the food and beverages that Propeller provides are superb as well. From 7am every day of the week, the container opens and you can grab coffee and a snack, and either take it away or perch with the newspaper. Choose to sit in the restaurant with friends between 11am and 10pm Mon-Fri, and 7am-10pm Sat-Sun, where the menu is great, and is even better between 5-10 during the week and 12-10 on the weekends when they fire up the pizza oven.
Good coffee, lovely wine and scrumptious meals come together to make this sleek but jovial space something to rave about. Claire
