Print Hall is one of the latest sophisticated establishments to open its doors in the Brookfield Place precinct. It’s a classy spot housed in the beautifully restored Newspaper House, which The West Australian used to call home. Spread out over four levels, the owners have made the most of the space, with a roastery & bakery named Small Print opening onto the basement laneway, the Apple Daily Bar & Eating House on the mezzanine level complete with leather booths, and the inviting Bob’s Bar rooftop terrace. But walking into the main Print Hall Bar & Dining Room on the ground floor is what will take your breath away, with its soaring high ceilings, sleek black lighting fixtures and wall of greenery separating the front bar section from the back bar and dining room (pictured). Of course they couldn’t stop at an amazing space, but have also incorporated an oyster bar with renowned Jerry Fraser shucking the oysters, a cheese area where you can take your pick of the wheels and have it served at your table, and glass windows giving you a glimpse through to the kitchen. If this spot doesn’t make you consider a city office job then nothing will.
