This café is much loved by its locals – on any given day there will be a group of mums and dads catching up for coffee and cake after dropping their kids at school, there will be those who work nearby choosing Feast for a quick business meeting, and there is a constant stream of regulars first thing in the morning, dropping by for a takeaway before they leave the leafy suburb and head off to the daily grind. But Feast is much more than that – with the light and fresh lunch options and irresistible baked goods on offer, you’ll find it’s well worth a detour.
The cabinet is always piled with an array of salads that are filling and tasty. If you’re particularly hungry add a tuna pattie, a slice of Greek lamb pie or whatever savoury treats they’ve made. Breakfast offerings will also start you off on the right foot, and the coffee does the job too. But whatever you do leave room for desert – whether you like your cakes rich and decadent, moist and fruity or gluten free, there’ll be something to satisfy your sweet tooth. Claire.
