Whilst Northbridge has long been renowned for its dodgy bars and clubs, Ezra Pound turns a slightly worn out joint into something a little more enticing. Enter through the car park just off James St, into a small laneway adjoining this bar, packed with people having a drink and trying to be heard over the music. The premises itself is made up of a few small rooms, decked out with comfy old couches and small wooden stools. Ezra Pound serves up Coopers long necks in brown paper bags and slightly stronger concoctions in recycled jam jars. If you find yourself thirsty for a drink, Ezra Pound is certainly a better option than most others in the area.
