This body of work offers itself up as a simple distraction, something unashamedly fun in troubled times. Influenced by the work of Greg Bogin, Morgan Blair and Josh Sperling, Bruno Booth creates large, unapologetically bold paintings using an airbrush, plywood and canvas.
Bruno is interested in computer graphics and how these can influence a person’s perception of the physical and the psychological. Broader themes that drive his practice include social networks (real life vs online) and the unprecedented change in how groups disseminate information since the rise of the Internet.
