The Chevron Festival Gardens is the place to be during the Perth International Arts Festival season. It’s free to hang out in the garden area where there will be live, local music on the Garden Stage plus food and drinks available for purchase. Inside the ticketed area are the main shows each night – covering a broad range of contemporary music with something for everyone.
From a place where rock ’n’ roll meets gospel, soul and blues, comes the denim-clad, whiskey-soaked Nathaniel Rateliff and his Night Sweats. A formidable live act, these champions of Americana enjoy a world-renowned reputation for stage-quaking shows that explode with a deep, primal soulfulness. Hard-rocking, rollicking and heart-gripping, the Night Sweats dare you to stay still, leaning in with harmonies and flashing brass as they waltz, throttle, howl and burn.
Before the Night Sweats evoke a deep-seated rumble, the sultry four-part harmonies of Sydney’s indie-folk darlings, All Our Exes Live in Texas will set the tone.
