The winter edition of the Made Local Market will focus on local makers, and will host more than 25 stalls selling locally made gifts and wares such as ceramic planters, artist prints, textiles and jewellery.
Stallholders include Bahru, Leo and Spargo, Floral Army, Neighbourhood Press and Many Peaks Assembly. Stackwood studio residents will also be sharing their wares, including ceramics studio Winterwares, art by Sally Mundy and organic products by the newest member of the Stackwood fold Clean Slate. The Stackwood concept store will also be full of plants to add to your urban jungle.
The market will host food trucks Comida do Sul and Gary’s Diner, and stall Flitch and Leaven serving up Brazilian street food and classic winter fare. Stacked Cafe will be serving coffee and Mary Street Bakery donuts to satisfy your sweet tooth, plus there will be activities to keep the kids entertained. Local folk musician Lucy Peach will perform as the sun sets on Friday.
This year the market has expanded to run all weekend:
Friday 11 August 3pm – 9pm
Saturday 12 August & Sunday 13 August 10am – 3pm.
