Cocoon Textiles

If you’re passionate about supporting local designers, then make sure you head to Cocoon Textiles. Liz Dawes heads this bright and airy space with her own label Cocoon. Clothes feature bold coloured fabrics and prints, as do the range of cushions, bags and obi wrap belts. Supporting other WA designers, she also stocks Ashe, Batchelor, Chinky Wooster, Petals in Disarray and Stiff. You’ll find that many of these clothes have been screen printed by hand, so you’ll be buying an individual and one-off piece. Look out for her wares at local markets such as Unwrapped. Jelena.
